Aidan Jones is a writer, musician, and educator currently living in Northern Minnesota.

He holds a Master of Arts from Hillsdale College’s Diana Davis Spencer Graduate School of Classical Education, and a Bachelor of Arts in music and communicating arts from the University of Wisconsin-Superior.

His writing has appeared in national publications including The Chesterton Review, St. Austin Review, Gilbert magazine, and New Guard Press. Some of his work may be found at his Substack, The North Outpost. His research interests include the Pearson Integrated Humanities Program, G. K. Chesterton, the Oxford Inklings, and agrarianism.

A classically-trained baritone, Jones studied under Dr. Vicki Fingalson and Dr. Jeffery Madison. While in college, he gave the premiere performances for two new vocal works: The Ballad of the White Horse by Ian Deterling and Super Flumina Babylonis by Brett Jones.

In 2022, he released an EP of original songs in the Christian singer/songwriter genre titled Light of Eternity. More recently, he has released a number of original singles, including “The Ballad of David of Doncaster” and “Little Flower.”

Jones is also an award-winning filmmaker, and has acted on both stage and screen. In his free time he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and friends, fly fishing, reading, smoking a pipe, and swing dancing.
